Miller Boat Line

Miller Boat Line provides passenger and vehicle service from Catawba Point (Port Clinton), Ohio, to Put-in-Bay on South Bass Island.  Free parking is available and it’s just more fun getting around the island with golf carts, bikes, scoote--rs and hiking.  Once on the island, it is recommended you take a taxi to the hotel. (It is too far to walk – almost 2 miles.)

Miller Boat Line operates four passenger/car ferries to Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass Island from the tip of Catawba (off SR 53). Miller Ferry provides the most frequent trips to Put-in-Bay (daily, every half hour during the summer until 9 p.m.), budget fares (Put-in-Bay Adult: $7.50), and five free parking areas. Miller Ferry is the only ferry service that provides both passenger and vehicle service to Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass Island; motorcycles and bicycles are also welcome. The official ferry schedule begins in March and ends in late November, but the ferry runs as long as weather permits.
